Econocraft Materials – Limited Lifetime Warranty

Effective Date: May 1, 2024
Products Covered: LokPlateTM Plastic Downspout Nozzles (including ASA “UV+” and PVC “Standard” variants)

Econocraft Materials (“Manufacturer”) warrants to the original purchaser, and any subsequent owner of the property on which the product is installed, that its LokPlateTM Plastic Downspout Nozzles shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product under normal use and service conditions.

1. Coverage

This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers:

Defects in materials or workmanship under normal installation and use.
Cracking, splitting, or structural failure not resulting from impact, mishandling, or improper installation.
Abnormal or accelerated color fading or discoloration beyond what would be reasonably expected due to natural weathering, provided the product has been properly installed and maintained. Normal weathering may cause gradual, uniform changes in color or gloss over time; such changes are not considered a defect.

2. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, mishandling, modification, impact, or exposure to harsh chemicals or extreme heat sources.
Normal weathering, including uniform fading, chalking, or surface oxidation due to prolonged UV exposure and environmental conditions.
Any costs associated with removal, labor, installation, or incidental or consequential damages.

3. Remedy

If a covered defect is found during the warranty period, Econocraft Materials will, at its sole option:

Replace the defective product with a new equivalent product, or
Issue a credit equal to the original purchase price.

This remedy is the sole and exclusive remedy available under this warranty. Labor charges, shipping, or incidental costs are not covered.

4. Transferability

This warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners of the property on which the product was originally installed, provided the product remains in its original location and configuration.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a claim under this warranty, the owner must provide:

Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)
Description and photographs of the defect
Installation address and contact information

6. Disclaimer

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is the only express warranty provided by Econocraft Materials. No employee, representative, or agent is authorized to modify or extend the terms of this warranty.

Except as expressly stated herein, Econocraft Materials disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or incidental damages, so these exclusions may not apply.
