A downspout nozzle (commonly referred to as cow tongue) is typically mounted to a drain pipe at the base of a building or below a parapet wall for roof rain water run-off to prevent staining or erosion of your building's exterior and foundation. The nozzle is also commonly used for other use cases requiring water redirection such as pool scuppers. The LokPlate™ Plastic Downspout Nozzle mitigates metal theft and enables a hardware-free install via it's patent-pending self-locking escutcheon plate. Designed to glue directly to standard 10" PVC or ABS schedule 40/80 DWV pipe. We also offer an optional bird screen designed for the LokPlate™ intended to protect your downspout from birds and other critters.
