Overview
The LokPlate™ plastic downspout nozzle finishes a roof drain or storm leader where it exits an exterior wall. It throws water clear of the building, so runoff doesn't stain the facade or erode the ground below. The nozzle bonds directly to standard Schedule 40 or 80 PVC and ABS DWV pipe and comes in seven sizes, from 2" to 12".
Each set includes two pieces:
- Downspout nozzle (also called a cow tongue, lamb's tongue or scupper)
- Round self-locking escutcheon plate (also called a wall flange or beauty ring). Installing the plate is optional.
Why LokPlate
No metal, nothing to steal
Bronze and brass downspout nozzles are stolen for their scrap value. Plastic has none, so the nozzle stays on the wall and you don't pay to replace it.
Hardware-free install
The patent-pending escutcheon plate locks onto a track on the nozzle body. No screws, anchors, caulk or glue touch the wall, which shortens the install and leaves the building face undamaged. The track gives the plate a range of locking points, so it still sits flush when the pipe stub runs long, short or slightly crooked. A raised center ring clears debris and rough finishes around the pipe opening.
Made for sun and weather
Both pieces are injection-molded from a high-grade polymer with high UV and impact resistance. The color is molded into the plastic, not painted on, so it won't chip or peel, and there is nothing to rust or corrode. Covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Installation
- Cut the pipe so it projects from the finished wall by about 1.5" for 2"–6" nozzles, 2.0" for the 8", and 2.5" for the 10" and 12".
- Make sure the pipe end and the nozzle hub are clean, dry and free of debris.
- Apply cement to both surfaces. Use ABS-to-PVC transition cement on PVC pipe and ABS cement on ABS pipe, following the cement manufacturer's instructions.
- Push the nozzle fully onto the pipe and hold it in place until the cement sets.
- Slide the escutcheon plate over the nozzle and press until it locks flush against the wall.
Connecting to cast-iron pipe? The Installation & Connection Guide on our product specifications page covers no-hub, fitting and threaded terminations, along with the data sheet, CSI specification and Revit family.
